We did so many fun things today for the 100th day of school. Check out some of our activities in the pictures below!
Our Old First Graders
A few of the students came dressed up as if they were 100 years old. We had a blast seeing their creative outfits!
100th Day Math Centers
After writing about how we would spend $100, we spent some time doing math centers. The students rotated through 4 centers where they wrote 100 things they knew, decorated hats with 100 items, solved a puzzle, and wrote their name to fill 100 boxes. It was a lot of fun, and quite a challenge, too! 100 is a big number!
Thumbs up!
Probably our favorite part of the day was doing a craft with our buddy class. Our buddy class comes to visit us every Friday and it is the highlight of our week! We wrote "Thumbs up! I am 100 days smarter!" in the middle of a piece of paper. Then we made 100 thumbprints! It was fun to use paint, and we also enjoyed helping friends in our buddy class.
When we are 100...
We finished out the day by taking some VERY silly pictures. The kids were cracking up seeing themselves as "old people"! So, without further ado, here are some very old first graders!
